We are well-off enough to sit in the comfort of our own homes and judge these people harshly.

Public health should be disbanded as a discipine.
Even in clinicsl medicine we say that patient autonomy comes first.
This whole pandemic stuff has shown what i have been saying for some time now. People want to do what they want. To the extent theu want professional doctors to give them whatever treatment they deem is correct. Investigations they deem they need.
So we should stop determining what patirnts should and should not do just like what the colleges say to us too when we get complaints.
The bullshit answer we get from college is always how "we need to improve communication skills" with our patients.
Yeah fucking college you tell the chief medical officer and minister of health how to "improve communication skills" with these anti covid whatever protestors!
It is not communication skills. The world today is now about the individual wanting what they want.
