Why do u think the GE is called now urgently? Why such a short compaigning period? Singapore is going into technical recession soon and into a real one by year end. Our economy is too exposed to global economy and with China unravelling, lots of companies here going to take a big hit. So for this reason, we need to choose wisely.

yes, you are right that s'pore will be in recession. we are already about 2 quarters in contraction. most likely, it will be announced in october.
