Thousands of taxpayer $ Spend on Audi Fashion Festival without hiring Singaporean Models?
Today, just witnessed the Audi Fashion Festival Open Casting
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Audi-F...9955483?ref=mf
and witnessed the death of local fashion modeling. The local models arent even allowed in? It doesnt matter whether you are Malay, Indian or Chinese? It doesnt matter whether you are 1.75m, 1.83m, 1.90m? As long as you are not XXXXYYYY (foreign), you are out?
I question this because Singapore government support this event with so much taxpayer money and yet we chose to abandon Singaporeans...why? Are the money better spent elsewhere? Go help poor family? Support other initiatives where Singaporeans will benefit? Which government agency is responsible for the Cost Benefit Analysis for approving the money to support this event? Is the ministry of labour responsible if Singaproeans are denied fair employment? Will it take another few million dollars of exercise before once realise that Singaporeans are benefiting from this event? How can the taxpayer stand up and support Singaporeans? Your Singapore?
