New German EV from big two have a wltp range of over 650km. BMWiX3 is already at 700km.these are realistic range consumers seek. At a price.
But china EV's are offering only 450km average. So they came up with erev with a iCE generator fitted in to charge the batterirs offering up to 1000km range when fully charged and fully loaded with petrol.
The one who came up with erev is actually Mitsubishi phev way back in 2016 I think. It was Best selling mitsubishi Model in the US. Now adopted by chinese manufacturers.
