This illustration makes the assumption that the electricity is being generated via 100% non renewable sources which is not the case in many countries.

For example in NZ the majority of electricity generation is thermal and hydro so it definitely is advantageous to use an EV rather than an ICE car.

to zero emission that focuses solely on battery electric vehicles. In Toyota's playbook, the journey to zero emissions and sustainability
