Ethiopia's ancient Hayli Gubbi volcano erupted for the first time in 12,000 years, sending a massive ash plume across continents. In India, the ash cloud disrupted air traffic, causing flight diversions and warnings for airlines to avoid affected airspace. Cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, and Rajasthan experienced hazier skies. Experts noted that most of the ash stayed at high altitude, with only mild effects on ground-level air quality expected in Delhi-NCR and nearby regions. Meteorologists say the cloud will continue moving east toward China by Tuesday night, clearing Indian skies.

I think with so mamy earthquakes plus volcano eruption including this supposed inactive Ethiopia Hayli Gubbi volcano, something seems brewing for another big one somewhere, someplace this December. Another Boxing day tsunami like in 2004?

Some news channel says 10,000 years, some say 12,000 years. 2,000 years is a big difference hor. But in any case, it doesn't matter because the end of the world is here.

Book of Enoch in the Ethiopian Bible predicting end of world...

"The high mountains will be shaken and fall and break apart, and the high hills will be made low and melt like wax before the fire. The earth will be wholly rent asunder, and everything on earth will perish (1:5-7)."

The Book of Enoch, part of the Ethiopian Bible, contains a passage describing the end of the world (1:5-7) where mountains shake and melt, hills are leveled, and the earth is torn apart. This prophetic text is known for its descriptions of divine judgment and the coming destruction of the ungodly, as well as a promise of peace for the righteous.
  • Celestial and terrestrial upheaval: The passage foretells a cataclysmic event where "the high mountains will be shaken and fall and break apart, and the high hills will be made low and melt like wax before the fire".
  • Universal destruction: It continues by stating, "The earth will be wholly rent asunder, and everything on earth will perish".
  • Judgment and vindication: The Book of Enoch presents these events as part of a divine judgment against the wicked, while promising that the righteous will be vindicated and escape the destruction.
  • Context within the book: This specific passage is from the first chapter of the Book of Enoch, which sets the stage for the entire work by describing God's future judgment against sinners and the ungodly.
