With a few tweaks, the PAP govt hopes to move this system along. 4 years from now the demand for change will be even greater. Merely softening the edges of policies and not making fundamental change will not get us very far. Perhaps, the people will be slightly less unhappy in the short term but they will remain unhappy nonetheless. 4 years from now they will feel that little has been done and by then those who had given the PAP a chance in the last GE may run out of patience waiting for real change.

Vision? Their vision is to win the next GE with 80% popular votes.

Acceptable? Impossible? Well, that's what visions are all about. They must be stretched and not impossible.

given the motherhood statements they are constantly making, it will remain the impossible dream.

PAP popularity will drop to next election. Younger generation 70% will vote opposition. PAP will still win but getting less majority and seat.

U r rite. Theres no vision coz they hv reach the horizon. They hv
"arrived" to collect their obscene pay, to fix the oppos......

Wanting to b in power always. Sometimes, I find that the PM or rather the GM
is doing all the messy cleaning up from his incompetent musical chairs Ministers' flawed
manipulatable policies. N hv to apologise on their behalf too.

Its his own fault for the deployment, thinking that they are all supermen.
For eg. this Heng(in Finance) is thrown in Education. VB (Medical scholar) thrown
in Enviro.,, Gan (no idea of credentials) is in Health.
They are all playing with our lives.

N at the end of their term in power, he would give them platinum golden handshakes.
There no one accountable for any faulty performance. All done well.
In fact, he is shaking his own hands and patting his own back.

Mr Lee is a very nice man. He treat his staff very well.

Don't bother lah.

He has no vision beyond the silver spoon that's still sticking out from his mouth.

Ya .. thanks to the GRC system and electorate boundaries committee. I won't be surprise to see Joo Chiat SMC been absorbed into Tanjong Pagar GRC in next general election.

How to have a Vision when our PM is thinking thru his ar*e hole all the time..???
