TT and TJS got it right. In communication terms to reach out the voters, especially the illiterate.

TT's "Spectacles" and TJS' "Simple Heart" make it easy for the older voters to identity.

TCB's "Palm Trees" is so so - notwithstanding the fact that it represents his campaign's theme.

TKL's "High 5" symbol is not suitable/meaningful for the older voters, difficult to replicate for communications, and awkward-looking (a symbol within a symbol). And on a woman, looks like someone is grasping her breast. He is spending $15,000 for the campaign and the die-cut production of his campaign tools become expensive to produce.
