The reporter should tell them that they did not miss anything much. Coverage was inept, amateurish, nonsensical analysis by studio guest who emitted nothing but bovine gas.

The two hosts were repeating what viewers had just heard from the horse's mouth on numerous occasions;

The one who covered the online mutterings was doing just that - muttering nonsense, with her hands pointing to screen shots which did not match what she said. Worse, there were times what she said was opposite to what was displayed;

The studio guest refused to commit to anything which might confirm her as a dud - and she managed to do so. It got to the point, where quite early into the programme, Melissa in not so many words asked her to give a straight yes/no answer. But obviously lacking listening skills, started rambling on and was correctly cut off by Melissa or her producer.

But then we should not be surprised. Debra Soon's handling of the round table discussion earlier in the campaign got some of us thinking that we had switched on the wrong programme - that we were watching WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE PRESIDENT instead.

Why should there be Chinese coverage? I also don't see any Malay or Tamil coverage. The constitution and laws are passed in English and exercised in English anyway.

i think we should just use engrish in everything...why waste resources ...

Not everybody's English is as good as you, especially the elder folks who didn't have the opportunity of an English education. There should be Chinese commentary on polling night live telecast, Malay and Tamil too. The NDP hogged up four channels. I only expect two channels for PE. I don't see why there couldn't be one channel with English/Malay alternating commentary and one channel with Chinese/Tamil alternating commentary. PE should be considered more than NDP as it's once in six years, not annualy. Is that to much to expect?

Why do you guys want to watch in the first place? I rather go for play theatre.

Events and developments were happening and changing so fast, by the seconds. Where got time to switch from English to Chinese to Malay and Tamil.

Doesnt matter whether you can understand or not..the vote's already in the box, and the fate is sealed. Just like horse racing - Just sit tight and wait for yr horse lah.

wtf! ...

dey shud telecast it oni wen ze prc r not watching tv! ... :mad:
