Christmas is here already.

Brian and Mark Richmond got the kiss of death from MediaCorpse. Come January 1st, Joe Augustine and Vernetta Lopez takes over the 6 - 10am morning slot. Many listeners believe that (not surprisingly), they got killed by Kiss 92FM which was launched in July. But even without Kiss, they were already suffering from declining listenship numbers - helped by their silly and raunchy (re-cycled, internet) jokes, really terok Engrish (a group of boys ARE...) and bad pronunciation/enunciation of words.

Father Brian will be moving on to another (yet to be announced). Love Cheat Mark ("give respect to my family") says he promised himself that he won't be on radio for the next 25 years. Wise words. He wants to pursue his dream in the sporting arena, whatever that means.

I never really liked this father-son combination very much. I think they did start off in a so so way but the quality sort of declined after a few weeks. The fact that they tried to bring on Gurmit Singh to boost ratings attests to that. Love cheat Mark's promises count for nothing.
 
there are internet radio now.. you can tune in to tons of channels from different countries.. i am still nuts on why you sinkies still tune in to sinkie channels.

These two are two half-baked fake ang mohs lah. Brian was adopted by a Malay macik as a baby. His (Chinese) wife used to be a school teacher. That leaves Mark's nasal fake ang moh accent which must have been picked up from some chow ang moh's rubbish bin.

The Richmonds got Vomit Singh in to make themselves look better. That motor-mouth could not vomit enough rubbish fast enough in terok Engrish at 200 words per minute.

With vomit Singh brought into the mix i wonder if that studio can handle the collective ego from these egomaniacs. These Fockers think by virtue of the fact that they aren't of the majority race or the common sinkies they automatically are superior especially in the English language

Good news indeed! And what a lovely Christmas present.

Sure, listening to the father and son makes you want to smash the radio and with Gurmit added, you not only want to smash the radio but yank it out throw out of the window as well. But who is really at fault here? It's not absolutely clueless people who runs Mediacorp who don't even know how people are so much turned off by the Richmonds. As if one Richmond wasn't irritiating enough, Mediacorp had to give us a double dose of bad medicine by having two Richmonds in the same program. And then as if two Richmonds were not annoying enough, they brought in Gurmit to make sure our day ahead will truly be spoilt. The whole problem lies with those idiots who are running Mediacorp.
