Just got a farewell email from one of the IT guy. I thought he sounded a bit sad in his email until my colleague asked me to scroll all the way down. I saw another identical IT guy's farewell email (sent 1 month ago) just below his email.
This fella is either too lazy or dunno what to write so he simply copied and forwarded his ex-colleagues email using the same name list without deleting the previous email.

There was another case where an email from another company was circulated in my company. The email author sent the email to the bosses and colleagues of her husband (and some people in my company), telling them that her husband is an unfaithful guy who went holiday with his gf in Phuket, leaving her and their 3 kids to suffer at home......blah blah blah. The husband replied saying that their marriage was already on the rocks and they have already apply for divoce......blah blah blah.
Was wondering what the fark this email was all about until I discovered that the GF was a lady from the next dept. This lady got quite good figure but no looks. Did not leave the company and still act yaya papaya infront of us........

Anyone got similar stories to share?

I made a big blunder when I was a rookie more than 10 years ago. I sent porn via company emails to other colleagues. Now, whenever I think about it, it was lucky that nothing happened to me.

Perhaps the IT department have an agreed upon template for their farewell e-mail.
The guy could at least have copied and paste the old e-mail into a fresh e-mail to be sent, instead of forwarding the old e-mail.
He might as well not have forwarded the farewell e-mail.

As for the lady from the next department, be sure to keep soft and hard copies of the e-mail. You never know when you may need it.

i used to forward emails to myself until i realise that it is a waste of emails.....
