HENG: Ok lah, so “Big Nose” is at it again with his digs at the Workers’ Party. But the problem that “Big Nose” doesn’t see is that every time he come and chuk this kind of pattern (pulls stunts like these), the WP always somehow manages to benefit from it. Maybe it’s called the “underdog card”.

What happened back in 2013 during the Hougang by-election? “Big Nose” whacks Png, saying he was not truthful about why he was not selected to represent the WP as a Non-Constituency MP. He also asked why the WP did not select Mr Png to be an NCMP but still sent him as a candidate to Hougang, which in other words is saying that WP send a lousy bum to contest Hougang. Png won, “Big Nose” face black like thunderstorm.
And then another sex scandal and came the Punggol-East By-Election. Poor Dr Koh Poh Koon. Promoted to the public by “Big Nose”, he lost by more than 3000 votes to the WP’s Lee Li Lian. And who can forget the press conference after that. Lee won, “Big Nose” face black like thunderstorm.
So fast forward to today and we have “Big Nose” taking a swipe at Sylvia Lim in Fengshan, even though she won’t be contesting there. I think it’s fengshui, but Fengshan looks likely to fall to the WP. If the PAP wants to have a chance of winning there, it better zip the mouth of “Big Nose” before curses the fengshui even more.
