Just look around sinkapore, any sane person will tell you FTs or PRs or naturalized citizens oredi reaching the overwhelming number ! Of course, if there are two worlds in one country, surely the salaries and price of basic shelters are badly affected ! This is a fact but local voters are just too ignorant ! These are also the consequences of mandate given by voters to a same group for so long !
Growth at all costs ! What can the local people do when the big damage is done ? In fact, it is too late to salvage the situation but still we need to find hope !
New citizens are happy becos their children come back safe after school and you have the uncles and aunties telling you Goodies are coming soon , and you have some rich guys telling their private estates will be upgraded.
Just think about it, what kind of a society we are heading ? Everybody is for himself ….though PAP may attract the low quality votes, they still win votes ! What the hack, who cares right ?
How are you oppo parties going to convince the new citizen that becos of the size of sinkapore, security is never a problem if the salary for the police people and the strict rules are in place right !
You have a country 100 times bigger than sinkapore, whatever you do is also not enough, criminals flourish in bigger place !
Sinkapore is too small for serious criminals to hide !
And you see, we have voters mixing up the general election with goodies and township upgrading and wrong perspective !
Next GE, oppo parties should take the boundaries change like gentlemen !
Don’t complain to the voters about it, don’t even want to talk about it becos what can you do ?
You oppo parties should know you are not dealing with gentlemen , you should take the challenge like people of all seasons !
You oppo parties expect small people to give you advantage on winning votes ? Think Sinkapore, just go along and let your frustration turns into strength of greatness !
Afterall, sinkapore is an island only, it is a messy thing to cut here join there and shift here shift there right ! Funny llike kids playing masa masa right !
Moreover many old voters oredi up the lorry and many young voters appear !
You oppo parties may enter a territory full of PAP supporters but please take heart, this is your golden opportunity to do explanation , education and motivation ! Many of these PAP supporters can be naïve and ignorant, they cannot understand many things , they can be selfish either. Yes, it a hard nut to crack, this is why you are there and you will come out stronger than before !
Most of all, please don’t attack PAP before them, you may have to praise PAP in some areas in which the voters are benefiting , remember, victors do not always keep insulting his rivals, true valor is knowing the weak and strong points of a person and work on it !
You oppo parties go into the new territory with the right concept, right mindset, right attitude with confidence , you are going win votes !
Why these people becum PAP supporters ? There are many reasons but definitely not about human rights, democrazy , it is something to do with personal issues !
Many of the PAP supporters do not look beyond goodies, township upgrading, etc.
New citizens believe this place is safe but they never think that if the population gets bigger bigger beco the world over come to sinkapore becos they think sinkapore is safe, then what will happen later ?
So you oppo parties are going to walk right in and make friends with them, talk to them, go native with them and you talk about household issues !
Refer to many posts…..they can help you to win votes ! Go into details of household issues, family affairs, and many many more.but not YOG, F1, casinos ,etc .
Please don’t attack PAP, PAP supporters don’t like it , you will lose votes !
Talk to them simple, give oppo parties a chance to work with them !
Oppo parties, you will face many PAP supporters in your next GE, don’t insult PAP, don’t even talk about PAP if you have nothing to praise , try to get these voters to listen what you have to say !
Think positive, you will be winning high quality votes if you can knock some senses !
You oppo parties may see high percent of spoilt votes , however, pls try to tell these voters to give you a chance !
Pls remember, local voters are not smart people, you have to talk simple , this is a ground fact, if goodies and township upgrading can sway votes to PAP, what are you dealing with !
On thing is for sure, if one oppo party which is oredi smeared or has a bad reputation, you should not contest the same place again, becos the voters are not forgiving !
PAP has created a big monster—that is the new citizens….majority of these will vote PAP !
You oppo parties better not damn the FT policy out of proportion at the GE, you will lose their votes ! Try to win them over !
Elections boundary change cannot be the excuse of why oppo parties are losing, think about it ! You oppos have to look at you first ! And the primitive voters the second !
Don’t let boundary change upset your plans and ideas, you are only working on the voters whether PAP supporters or your supporters !
Remember this, especially this issue ---cooling -off day is best applied at predominantly PAP-supporter areas, tell these voters to go around sinkapore in public transport , go casinos, and malls……to see what they want before the polls !
Always turn the negative things to your advantage ! Win or lose is the voters, you are just providing an honest alternative !
Smile at the voters, they are the ones who are responsible what sinkapore will be ! Oppo parties cannot hide this truth from them, tell these voters they are responsible for sinkapore ! You oppo parties must be honest with them , PAP is not cause !
If the voters are still thinking PAP is responsible for sinkapore, and then Oppo keeps attacking PAP to entertaining the voters at the GE, in the end it is just a tragic story !
Sinkapore politics is like becoming a house –maintenance and goodies office , so why talk about politics anymore at the GE ?
The chance to win votes depends on how you work on the voters !
You have at least 30 to 35% hardcore supporters, you just need another 20% for sinkapore to see hope !
God help you help sinkapore !
