Election Leak. At least 1 more By-Election expected in 2013.

Thanks to Mike and AIM.
The Punggol East BE had to be called immediately to avoid holding the 2 By-Elections
simultaneously. Strategically, this arrangement benefits the PAP.

If the PAP holds the 2 BE concurrently, they risk losing at least 1 SMC.
Opposition Parties would likely avoid contesting the Punggol East BE if there are 2 BE to choose from because The Worker's Party won 41% of Punggol East BE's votes in GE 2011.

Having BE one at a time would encourage multi-party contest and this would give the PAP a higher chance of winning the 2 BE. That is why the sudden snap election was called.

Sounds more like hopeful speculation that a real leak.
Would be nice if it does happen though, then can see if SDP will hypocritically call dibs on Bukit Panjang SMC.

Who on earth did you get the leak from?
I decided to call the by-election because this year budget not very pleasing.
More pain than gain for the sinkie slaves.
Can't give out much goodies this year, money not enough.
If I called the BE after the budget, MIW sure to lose the BE.

If this is true then who's the guy to go? Teo Hon Pin? He was challenged by SDP there in 2011. SDP should just pull out of Punggol East, and start walking the ground in Bukit Panjang. Forget about Punggol East and let the WP compete there.

Its the senile emperor, he is expiring soon. He final days are numbered. If the PAP holds the BE after senile emperor expired they may get loads of sympathy votes.
But the PAP does not need or want any sympathy votes that why the snap election, even Hougang SMC with the help of Mdm Vellama d/o Marie Muthu
took at least 3 months to call the Hougang BE. So it must be the senile emperor.

From your father Kuan Yew. He's been leaking badly lately.

You might be right, lately harry has been talking to himself loads
and has been asking the maids to let him go visit gecko.
He might have accidentally lick it.

Thought he has stir her ashes into water and drank it, so as to be one with his wife.

That is only half correct, the truth is instead of drinking it, harry decided to sniff it in small portion to get his daily high on gecko.

It is funny that forumers here trying to call the political parties for certain action in the forum thinking that the party members will listen and action on.

I think they won't even bother unless a whole bunch here write directly to them, give them your 1/2 cent piece of mind and threaten them by not voting them. Only when they are overwelmed with e-mails then they will realise, "Opps!"
