This elderly woman slipped and hit her head while on this bus, leaving her head covered in blood. She was attended to by a passerby while the bus captain called an ambulance.

"At 10.43am this morning (Apr 15), I witnessed an incident at a bus-stop near Crawford Bridge.

"An elderly woman appeared to have fallen down and knocked her head on board bus service number 51.

"She was seen bleeding profusely from her forehead, and blood was dripping down onto the floor of the bus.

"Kudos to this passerby uncle in white, he was very concerned and attended to her even though he wasn't one of the passengers.

"The bus driver called for ambulance but did nothing more than that.

"The uncle in white seemed more worried than the bus driver, asking why the ambulance hadn't arrived yet and comforting the old woman throughout her ordeal.

"He even called up her next-kin to inform them of the mishap and asked them to come over.

"I believe the bus driver could have been more proactive in such emergency cases."

Bus drivers have these bad habit of braking unneccessarily when the bus is in motion.
They seems to forget that it is automatic transmission and not the old system of clutch and gears.
They can easily rev forward and brake slowly.
But these don't seems to be the case.
Hope someday someone in the shoes of that poor old lady will sue the bus driver and the company (in TORT) for failing to provide neccessary duty of care towards the commuters.
The Court should order a massive pay-out and then only the bus company would realise and give drivers the boot.
TIBs drivers are the worst lot.
Kudos to the gentleman who provided the care and concern for the poor old lady.
I have nothing positive to say about the driver. He is just a DISGRACE.
