Precisely, when you put all kinds of nationalities together, the kerlings and malai or pinoys, etc will inevitably gang up against individual Chinese. What you will then see is that other Chinese, especially those from Singapore, will remain quiet and mind their own business, ownself sweep their own door's snow. I am not being critical but just pointing out a sad fact of life amongst the Chinese community here. I noticed, however, amongst the Chinese from China or Taiwan, 'yi chi' is often shown and practiced amongst themselves, that is, they support and help each other.

Is this a case of the Chinese in Singapore have been so brainwashed that they lose their own Chinese identity and sense of Chineseness. As of now, they lack a sense of common Chinese identity and support for each other, speaking to each other only in the mandarin dialect and losing all the cultural ballasts from their dialect spirits and sense of shared community. Really so sad....

I noticed this chinese dog sydrome is most severe among only Sporean-chinese, the Cantonese Hongkongers and the City area malaysian-chinese, these 3 nationalities only.

Whereas the other chinese race people in the rest of the world such as the chinese race people in Indonesia, Thailand, Phillipines, Taiwan, USA, Canada, Europe, South America, all don't have this chinese dog syndrome.

Talk about unity of other races. One example is singapore idol. Do you know why the malay community voted for the malay singer? Cause he/she but more of he is a malay not because he's the best singer. One example the very first winner taufik if you care to watch one episode when they are elminating the various contestants in one episode taufik was shocked that he did not get voted out but got to stay in. He showed a shocked expression cos even he himself thought he wasn't good enough yet he actually won. I just want to know why the loss of dialect and the speaking of mandarin how did that contribute? Cos wouldn't it actually help to unify all chinese since they all speak the same language?

I just want to know the root cause or rather causes like what makes a sinkie chinese become a chinese dog while you don't see indians or malays becoming like that in such numbers. I am actually starting to think can it actually be genetic.
