They should draft them into a vocation which allow them to swim daily eg NDU, or swim instructor (if there is one}

Schooling should take part in the next Olympics which is only 3 years away. By the time he's ready to return to do his NS, he'll be almost 30 years old. May be too old for BMT. May not clear FFI for BMT. They may just send him to a relaxed vocation.
