Dear Oppo leaders,
Before we talk about the main subject, let us just mull over the HDB flat value.
If FTs are the only machinery to sustain the high HDB price, big trouble is brewing in sinkapore !
Public housing price is humanely sustained by economy, industry and relevant wages !
Please engage the voters on this subject !
Now lets talk about Township upgrading .
Every five years, when GE is near, the present ruling party will talk about billions to upgrade township !
Year 2006, many billions were promised during the elections, there is no surprise to hear the same music when next GE is forthcoming !
Please don’t blame PAP or start bickering with pennies with these humans on this issue !
They have nothing to talk about ! You Oppo parties have the advantages , so use the precious opportunity to rehabilitate the voters !
Like we talk about it before, voters are the winners and losers , not PAP or Oppo parties !
Next GE You oppo parties must ask voters about the last 2006 GE, where were the billions of township upgrading spent !
You know how much is one billion ?
You oppo parties must dare to push responsibilities to the voters tactfully.
Ask them---if public money is used by a political party to gain popularity , or perhaps to influence you voters not to vote for alternative voice in the parliament , is this the right cause you voters are supporting ??
Some more, importantly, ask the voters whether it is a serious offence that the practice of public money cannot be spent to do upgrading at constituencies which prefer to reject PAP ?
When we link township upgrading to NS , ask voters when NS is for every local son, do we really understand what is right and what is wrong , what is fairness and what is not fair ?
Township upgrading happens around the world not only little sinkapore!
Please tell he voters don’t let Township upgrading overshadows other serious issues. voters have to think about their livelihood , their fellowmen and well being of the country !
When a govt has enough taxes or enough surplus, the foremost thing to do is to lower the living costs right !
Engage the voters, it is good to have enough money to do township upgrading, but if sinkaporeans are still paying TV license or radio license, what is good with beautiful tiles and concrete structures when you got 30 years of HDB loan , and never-ending bills to pay for !
Oppo parties, restoring the mind of voters about Township Upgrading is a reality , but you will not win votes if you attack PAP on this issue.
