i have an aunty colleague, she is literally sitting on gold. Fully paid landed property, easily drawing 5-digit passive income every month from investments/rentals. A tai tai but working just for cpf

Basically, her financial game is already won.

But everyday without fail, must kbkp about how her life sucks.

The best part? World Cup season comes, she bets $5 or $10 per match. If the bet loses, she reacts like her whole world is coming to an end, lamenting how "bad luck" she is and talking all kinds of rubbish.

Seriously, watching someone with generational wealth breakdown over a $5 loss is a different level of entertainment. Is this a rich people sickness or what? Anyone else got colleagues like this?

Currently renting it out for passive income while staying in another condo with his family

Works in cushy tech coy with hybrid wfh lifestyle

He calls chicken every once in a while

Drives his own car fully paid up

But when wanna jio him out he will say parking fee too expensive

Or don't wanna meet because the meeting location is too far for him

He will only meet up if another friend offers to pick him up and send him home after meeting

End up usually share about being lonely and emo etc

TLDR version - Stable life with excess $ but dislike spending money on car park fee or driving to meet with friend but overall feels lonely and emo.

2nd, young guy is a lone wolf. Prefer being by himself instead of empty talks with friends. Give him a project, and he will drive and pick you up.
