Eclise of sun on CNY day

There was an eclipse of the sun this late afternoon. Being Chinese New Near first day, I wonder if it portends a bad omen. :(

ze last total eclipse was on 1 aug, 2008 ... ze sun set b4 reappearing ...it wil b ze same on 22 jul tis yr ...

last yr, shortly after ze eclipse, stock market started plunging ...
