SINGAPORE - A woman was shocked after being charged $42 for three porkchop rice meals and one steamed pork meal at a coffeeshop in Yong Siak Street.

Stomp reader Kenneth alerted the citizen journalism site to the incident after coming across the woman's post on Facebook about her experience dining there.

The woman had visited the coffeeshop with her friends, and had ordered three porkchop rice sets and one steamed pork.

When she received the bill, she realised that the three porkchop rice meals cost $27 in total, and the steamed pork cost $15.

The woman's post on facebook quickly went viral, and some even responded by highlighting their own bad experiences at the same coffeeshop.

"The best part is that the menu does not have the prices. The boss even stated that they have never had menus with prices," added Kenneth.

Which Sinkie still eats such unhealthy food? I suppose the picture on the right is steamed pork?

Even if I were destitute and hungry and someone offered me a freshly cooked steamed pork dish or pork-chop rice meal, I'd decline it. I'd rather drink plain water and starve than to eat garbage.
