You can't possibly be master of your own destiny if you allow yourselves to be trapped by "devilish obstacles", i.e. assuming that they are indeed "devilish obstacles" in the first place. The simple secret to achieve "success" is to have a can-do attitude in everything that you do. Or, in the alternative, learn to accept that "success" does not always mean "material" success as most Singaporeans are wont to do. This materialistic definition of "success" is one of the root causes why Singaporeans are continually unhappy. Compound with the lack of can-do attitude, they then start blaming everyone, God, the PAP, etc except themselves for whatever "predicament" they are supposedly in. Can't enjoy sex because of small flat? PAP's fault! Does that even make any sense to you?
