Voting for someone because public infrastructure is built is laughable.

Many of the newer MRT stations are actually also overly extended underpasses (existing overhead bridges were demolished, refer to Marine Parade), if you enter the MRT station from one of the further exits you would have to walk a very long distance to get to the ticket gantries. Good luck, old farts.

I have spotted one of the Thomson Line MRT stations (not Stage 4) not having escalators at one of the exits, you either take the lift or use the staircase. After stepping out of the station and looking around, I deduced that they either ran out of budget for the escalators or there wasn't enough space to fit them into the station.

I will not name the station, it's somewhere in the central region. It's more fun to find out for yourself.

I believe the election speech is targeted to salvage HSK's East Coast GRC.
most of MRT stations are located in his GRC including a couple of those unopened. He pacified those whose station not opened yet - as if trying to cushion the blame off HSK....
