APOCALYPSE: Scientists have issued a doomsday warning for the planet
Humans are on a "collision course" with the natural world, says the letter signed by 15,000 researchers.
Scientists originally published their apocalyptic findings in 1992, in a letter called "Word Scientists' Warning to Humanity."
Now 25 years later they're warning the future looks even worse.

William J Ripple, a US-based professor, says in the report: "Soon it will be too late to shift course.
"Earth with all its life is our only home."
The report warns of damage to the planet in the past 25 years, including so-called "dead zones" in the oceans.
Since 1992, over 92 million football pitches worth of forest has been destroyed.
