Earth Hour? How many planet earths is enough for men's greed and destruction?

Many knows that it is indeed too late; too little; and too ineffective - whatever we try to save this planet. Man possessively call it OUR planet as if it really belonged to man, when indeed we are just temporarily sharing it with many other forms of lives.

We took so much from earth from the past and especially in the current century, and yet we can only give the planet an hour of break? Come on greedy men!

Before this century, I think human population level must be way below 1 billion and now we can past 8 billion any time.

Before this century we did not realize that we were getting ourselves and the planet into BIG troubles. We did not know that we going to deplete earth's resources and destroy it irreversibly as well as rapidly. We learned about this too late and too little.

What can an hour do to help except for a token meaning?

Is man going to stop exploiting and destroying earth?

Where can man go after earth is fucked by us beyond liveable limits?

How many more men are coming to join this self-destruction?

How many earths is enough for man's greed and exploitation?

Just only this one earth is too far from enough for greedy and stupid man.

Man have no solution but just too many unanswered questions on the most important thing - our own mess extinction.:(

I believe many might have thought its mainly due to our improve health standard etc, but its actually thanks to the discovery of Haber process which facilitate the making of fertilizer for crops. Don't complain, without this discovery,1/3 of the population might goes hungry and die of hunger.

People are often too complex for their own good, coming up with lots of crazy and funny innovations and ideas in this industralized age. I wonder what progress really means sometimes.

The birth of U.S. is the reason why the world population is going up.

If there is no capable big brother like the U.S., places like Russia and China will have started the 3rd World War and cause the population to plunge.

I had always illustrated this problem will a simple comparison like this:

Planet earth in solar system with it's finite and limited space / mass / energy & material resources as well as living environment for all forms of lives on it, is compared with a simple aquarium containing fish.

There are absolute physical limitations to our planet's living environment, to keep possibility to sustain lives within there are many delicate balances that have to be maintained. Being greedy about just anything will offset the balance and ruin the possibility to live within.

These can be simply illustrated like follows:

You need water & oxygen & food for fish to sustain, and there is a ratio between amount of each.

The problem here on earth is we got overpopulation of fish! So much so that water & oxygen & food is insufficient for them. The wastes of large amount of fish polluted the aquarium water too badly the environment within aquarium is unlivable any longer.

But we have NOTHING but this one aquarium, nowhere else to go.:(

There is a huge combination of factors caused all by men leading to our crisis of mass extinction:

• Greed for material live
• Technology & science
• Medicine
• Promotion of peace & lack of war
• too many (& huge) cities & factories
• Religions & political ideas promoting pro-live pro-peace
• many more

All in all humans had treated ourselves too kindly with brutal destructions done to planet earth. pro-life pro-peace are forms of greed too, they are greedy for lives instead of money. These people are pro-human lives, at the expense of the planets and other non-human forms of lives!

The time figure announced by scientists is roughly just a century left for us, clock ticking fast. Hopkins suggested human to migrate to another planet (where? reachable? how many can go?) My big question is HOW MANY MORE PLANETS is enough? How many to be fucked up by greedy men and abandoned?

Since we are all in self-destruction after all, might as well do it directly and destroy at least 7 billion of the existing population leaving just the same level of population before this century, then hopefully there is still humans on planet earth in the next few centuries?

One need to get serious to doubt the fundamentals of this civilisation instead of just blindly adopt the educated values with big assumption of it's faultlessness. I really think that something is fundamentally wrong within human teachings since the very beginning of civilisation, especially need to doubt the modern portion of civilisation where wrongs are more obvious.
