here's another one.

The pathways at present cannot accomodate an infinite number of e-scooters AND pedestrians.

there should be a quota. LTA should work out what the maximum number of e-scooters the pathways can take. Then set a COE system. Open bidding.

And for areas that are extremely high traffic implement ERP.

Seriously the pathway is just another road.

Brilliant idea! Yes after all, e-scooters are another form of transportation. And all forms of transportation should be subjected to prevailing laws and regulations. With no exception.

For a more integrated system. There should be foot paths n cycling pmd paths. Pmds and bicycles should not really be on the road unless there is a cycling lane. However pap might not build such lanes because some have been using pmds to get to work (b4 the ban) saving them bus n train fares. And if less ppl use trains etc pap will suffer a loss. So why would they want to do that?

Most sinkies surveyed by the grassroots leaders dislike the PMDs for being a menace on the pedestrian paths. The ruckus created by the loser food deliverers is like the noise made by the oppies. The overwhelming silent majority want the PMDs gone from the pedestrian paths. Only PAP can make the tough but necessary choice for the greater good of all sinkies. That's why singapore is the only ASEAN country that is developed, while the rest of ASEAN either becomes islamic failed states or politically unstable and susceptible to military coups.

I am of the opinion that PMDs should only be used on the roads (licensed riders, covered by insurance, pay road tax, mandatory helmet use, and so on). Just like motorcycles.

You are correct, almost all sinkies hate those PMDs. And I am glad our beloved PAP has taken steps to manage and control their usage. Their resolve shows courage and determination in the face of fierce opposition from those loser PMD users. Those losers had better behave themselves and observe all rules and regulations governing PMD usage, or our beloved PAP could jolly well ban them.
