Actually the assault rifle is not a very high tech thing...the Pinoys can just manufacturer it themselves as they can make guns in their back yard...why don't they do it?
no money to buy manufacturer license maybe? or defense no budget to even buy from pinoy arms manufacturers.
it known pinoy has home made AR15 and local version of the Colt 1911 .45 pistol and shotgun.
