During job interviews what reasons u give for leaving your ex companies

If the HR is a Pinay cockroach, your chance are zero right off the bat.

If you cannot come up with an answer for simple question like this, I doubt you can survive in the corporate world.
Maybe you'd like to enlighten us. Not many have the talent for lying, you know ?

But everyone has different circumstances right?

You need to come up with an intelligent answer that fits your situation.

@eugeneng didn't tell his whole life story besides sharing that he is pretty much very unsuccessful and maybe even a total loser.

So how to come up with good answer FOR HIM?

People already suggested many answers. Good enough lah.

Truthfully for very incapable incompetent lazy useless workers there IS NO GOOD ANSWER for them! Hopeless situation.

The solution is not a one off smart answer to a interview question. It is a change in total attitude and work ethic, learning habits and finding a good mentor. Those are the things you can change. You may not be smart intelligent or good looking and have an infectious personality but you can change those things I mentioned to become more valuable to the workforce.

Would you like a cock (coke) ?
Can you give me the fucks (facts) ?

Haha....something like tat lah. I need to ask him to repeat again. He sounds quite frustrated in repeating. But i am more frustrated with his response.

It is the truth. And you know it too.

MOM people dont talk like that. They just tell you to fuck off and ask your employer to hire foreigners instead.

I have had my fair share of shitty local job interviews and contact with MOM people, the answers they gave had your kind of vibe, basically telling you diplomatically to go fuck yourself.
I had much better experiences with foreign recruiters and foreign companies who are open with long hiatus between jobs.

I now live in Canada. And nobody is worried about interviewers asking such dumb questions about what did you do for 3 months?

Read my earlier replies. I said 3 months is short.

Canadians can take months off to go travel and see the world. Or go train for sports. Or just have a sabbatical.

We dont worry and go on forums asking what to say if the interviewer asks this question.

But @eugeneng asks this question. And says that he was on probation during the last 3 months and his employer does NOT want to confirm him. So why does his employer not want to confirm him?

Anyway it is the truth lah. If you are not good enough then you have to improve and wake up. Nothing wrong with failing and falling. Get up and improve get better. Change.

Looking for quick fixes doesnt cut it.

The best reason for resigning is...."for personal reasons".

Cannot ask any further cos it is "personal".

Sorry, I just find your reply to him extremely condescending. He might be new to the job market and you should give him the benefit of the doubt. Pouring cold water on him like that speaks more about you than about him.
And I don't give a fuck if you are in Canada or Timbuktu. Interviewers here in Sinkie-land will find fault with you if they can as it is not in their personal interest to hire locals. Just because you haven't experienced shitty interviews yourself doesn't mean others don't. Teaching others about street-smartness need not be condescending.

Then why dont you advise him then?

Sorry but he really sounds pathetic. I suspect he is purposely doing this and is not truly like that. If you cannot see through the parody then obviously you take it seriously.

I am being both sarcastic as well as putting a serious message/ advice.

There is no such thing as a "smart answer". You just have to answer to your best. Either the truth if it doesnt work against you or tell a believable lie.

In this forum you canr really take things too seriously. You want to come here and paint yourself as a really lousy individual and dont expect to be ridiculed? HAHAHA! Lol!

This is SBF lah.

BTW @eugeneng in his original post says he had 3 jobs and each time in first 3 months couldn't get confirmed! So becomes NINE months!

You believe ar? I dont. He is joking and exaggerating lah. Or......if really someone in THREE consecutive different jobs could NOT get confirmed each time x 3 ???!! Means really cannot make it lah.

Tell them you upgrading yourself and taking diploma course
at Uptron ACL.

You must Impress them

If i am HR and u told me u left previous employers during past 9 mths with watever reasons u had. Chances are i will likely not take u in. To me ur either a job hopper or u cant work well with colleagues.
If there are hundreds of applications.
Dont think hr will even bother about this person

Probably HR would shortlist. Tats why wats written in ur resume is very important. Being shortlisted for interview is only half battle won.
