Drug traffickers arrested

Police in Yunnan Province busted a drug ring Wednesday morning, local authorities announced.
Four suspects were arrested in Dai Autonomous Prefecture of Xishuangbanna and 24 kilograms of methamphetamine and 1 kilogram of heroin were seized.
Xishuangbanna borders Myanmar and Laos and is very close to one of the major drug sources in the world, the Golden Triangle. It has struggled with drug problems in recent years.
