Drug syndicate busted, six suspects arrested

SINGAPORE: The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) has busted a drug syndicate, arresting six suspects and seizing a variety of drugs with an estimated street value of S$157,000.
Five Singaporeans, comprising three men and two women, were nabbed in an operation conducted early Friday along Yio Chu Kang Road.
A Malaysian man, believed to be connected to two of the suspects, was arrested along Tampines Street 24.
CNB officers seized about 1.4 kilogrammes of heroin, 45.6 grammes of cannabis, 21 grammes of 'Ice' and 10 'Erimin-5' tablets.
