Dropout gets drugged and raped
SUBANG JAYA: A 14-year-old school dropout was drugged and then raped by a man who offered to give her a job.
The girl, who was expelled from school, was approached by two men at a shopping mall in Pandan Indah, Ampang, early October on the pretext of offering her a job.
A few days later, at around 7.55pm on Oct 5, one of the men took the girl to Subang Jaya, where they met up with the second man.
The first man left, while the second man took the girl to his apartment in USJ19 under the pretence of collecting some documents.
Once inside, the unsuspecting girl was offered a glass of soft drink laced with drugs and she passed out.
When she woke up the next day, she found herself naked in a bedroom and her body was aching.
As she walked into the living room, she saw the suspect, who gave her RM600 and threatened to spread videos of her if she told anyone about what had happened.
Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Ramli said the girl lodged a police report and a 56-year-old man has been nabbed.
