In the developed (I am not using First World) countries, no one calls the party in government the government forever, especially during election time. Similarly, no one calls the largest opposition party or parties the opposition all the time. This is jumping to conclusions that that party will forever remain "the government" and the "other"/"others" will be the opposition. Drop the terms.

i second your notion. should address each of the parties as it is named. :D:D:D

at current moment there's no constitution, so there's no govt... can only call the lightning jokers - incumbent!
as for every other party that have succesfully been nominated & rallying for your mandate - contenders!

I have resorted to call them the lightnings, the stars, the hammers, the sun. Easier to remember....LOL!
