Driver jailed for stealing crabs from employer

A delivery driver who stole crabs from his employer was jailed for four weeks on Wednesday.
Elvin Koh Sing Kiat, 37, pleaded guilty to three charges of stealing $712 worth of crabs with his colleague, Lim Chee Beng, 42, at Eng Lee Seafood Trading at Sungei Tengah, Agrotechnology Park, between Aug 19 and Sept 1 last year.
Twelve other similar charges involving $440 were considered during his sentencing.
A district court heard that Koh was entrusted with the key to a storeroom where seafood was stored.
