Dentists are doctors who hold a specialised degree focused on oral health - not a general medical degree like physicians. Dental training also covers related anatomy, pharmacology and overall health.

Burned out docs tend to be those in govt hospitals during their early years after graduation. Life will be better after moving to the private sector. Poly drs seem quite chill these days as they no longer accept walk-in patients. As such, they have a fixed number of cases daily.

Polyclinics still accept walk-in patients.

I always go with an appt because I have witnessed even seniors get turned away or told to come back in the afternoon when they walk-in early in the morning.
They can use health hub app to get an appt Sometimes it’s their own staff making things difficult for normal people and thinking it’s their right to do so since many Pinoys and old farts are hired to do patient service associate job and act arrogantly

Suicide rates for docs seem pretty high in the West, but no data is available in SG regarding suicide among docs here.
Everything is guarded in sg. No hospital will dare publish that if their doctor, nurse commit suicide.
