The PAP candidate for PE is classic MIW. Telling half-truths with a straight face. Taking a bus to work but forgot to mention two cars. No mention of what cars these are, and it will be interesting to find out. And whether he has a driver too.
No one would have begrudged him if he stays in a big bungalow; afterall, he runs/owns a $70million business. It is to be expected, to say the least.
But in attempting to convey his kampong roots, and keeping to his "kar ki lang" theme, he has demonstrated that whatever he says actually needs to be digested, analysed and 'probed'.
Most telling is the manner and the choice of words he used when responding to the questions that people had of him.
Tan Chuan-Jin made the usual motherhood statements of him: very kind, very sincere, very BS BS BS.....dogs of a feather BS together.
