Prostitutes fly into Orchard Road and openly solicit customers on the roadside

Prostitutes have arrived at Orchard Road, with 20 attractive women openly soliciting customers on the busy road, causing the public to worry that it will damage the country's image.
The New Paper recently received a report that prostitutes began to appear on the sidewalk in front of Forum The Shopping Mall on Orchard Road a few months ago, openly soliciting customers on the street.
A reporter recently visited the area and found that after nightfall, there were about 10 scantily clad women sitting on stone benches or steps along the street, waiting for an opportunity to strike up a conversation with men passing by.
According to observation, the group of sexy women are aged between 20 and 40, scattered in different areas, some sitting alone, some sitting in groups of two or three. Once they notice that the men passing by look at them for a few more times, they will stand up and approach them.
The sexy girls would approach the men and act coquettishly, saying provocative words to them like "Be my boyfriend tonight", and would also take the initiative to put their arms around their shoulders and behave in a very intimate manner.

The women were dressed in revealing clothes, which attracted some passing men to stop and negotiate the price with them. The two sides usually reached an agreement within five minutes, and then walked to the nearby bus stop or taxi stand to take a taxi and leave.
An informed reader who wished to remain anonymous told Shin Min Daily News that he worked near the location and started noticing the streetwalker problem about three months ago.
He said that most of the prostitutes are from Vietnam and they choose to gather here because there are many tourists.
"But many of the tourists are traveling with their families. I think these sexy women openly soliciting customers here will affect the image of our country."
He also pointed out that the number of sexy women who appear is usually the highest at around 11 pm, and they usually stay until around 1 am, and some even stay until 3 to 4 am.
"At the peak, there were about 20 to 30 people. The problem was very serious."
