The wealthy are extremely good at replicating themselves by enrolling their children in their former elite schools, paying for private tuition / school fees, leaving them a substantial inheritance etc. For young S'poreans w/o such a head start in life, they will struggle to buy a condo or car.

So, as parents we need to learn from our struggles and not have the mindset since we struggled, you need to struggle as well.
In fact, we need to give them the headstart which we never had.

I agree with you 100%. That is why my wife and I invested in private residential property and a shop unit as investments for our children. We intend to leave them enough funds so that they can afford to buy better homes after they start a family since we won't be around forever.
