PM showed courage in tackling sensitive subject of religion

<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->IN HIS National Day Rally speech, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong touched on one pertinent issue which caught my attention most - intolerance of the religions of others.
He mentioned cases of children who have converted and then stay away from their parents' funerals or wakes as they believe the traditional religious rites are against their new religion. According to Mr Lee, this is an unfilial act from the traditional point of view.
It is perfectly all right to propagate one's faith but to impose one's beliefs on others to their discomfiture is irresponsible and unacceptable in a multi-religious society.
I applaud Mr Lee for his moral courage in calling on religious groups to exercise restraint and tolerance and adopt the principle of 'live and let live' if we are to live together in peace and harmony.

And I applaud his moral courage to collect nearly $4 million a year for practically doing nothing. Everyone knows he is a weakling by now!
