To borrow from PAP showgirl Josephine Teo, we are scratching our head why this qualifies as news. But since it came from PAP lapdog reporter Rachel Chang, we are not surprised.
Rachel Chang made a big case of new "activists" joining the PAP grassroots and claiming to represent the voice of the people.
One of the activists, Joshua Yak claimed:
"People have this image that PAP activists are rich people or towkays but we are fellow human beings off the street."
Come on, Rachel Chang.
Of the five new "activists" you highlighted and identified, three fall under the upper to upper-middle class:
1. Jerry Koh, a partner at Allen & Gledhill who specializes in Reits.
2. Henry Kwek, director and MD at half a dozen firms.
3. Joshua Yak himself is the owner of an interior design firm.
So does PAP represent the rich or not?
