May I ask whether if the judge in Amos Yee case need to consult the government to pass her judgement this coming Tuesday?

Maybe I put it in n another way, will she be consulting the politicians to guide her in her judgement?

Can't believe you are asking such a question. Put that in your blog and see what happens to you. Don't even speculate on the independence of the judiciary. She only needs to consult what the politicians in parliament has passed as laws.

Anyway, smart people know how to get places in life by asking the question " who's his daddy? ".

Looks like the judgement is already out this afternoon:

Parliament: Counselling, other penalties for youths who make seditious remarks

Published on May 11, 2015 2:40 PM

SINGAPORE - Youths who make offensive remarks on race and religion may receive different intervention and penalties depending on the severity of the offence, Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development Low Yen Ling said on Monday.

These include conditional warnings, probation, and placement in a juvenile rehabilitation centre, reformative training centre or prison.

Rehabilitation programmes for these youths may also include counselling them on the importance of respecting other races and religions.

They will also have the opportunity to interact with people from other communities through activities and community service, or be mentored by staff or volunteers.

"These measures encourage offenders to take responsibility for their actions and equip them with life skills to embark on constructive lifestyles," Ms Low said in Parliament.

She was responding to Nominated MP Kuik Shiao-Yin, who wanted to know the programmes in place to rehabilitate youths who make seditious remarks.

Families also play a crucial part in rehabilitating these youths, Ms Low added.

Are you insinuating that the judge is not capable of coming to the right judgement decision based on the prosecution and defense ' arguments and her reading of the law ?

It is a fact that is well know in the judicial community that our judges are not independent. Have you read some of the judgments made by our judges? They are a bunch of jokers.

Even a banker crony such as Yong Pung How could become the Chief Justice, what does that tell you about Sinkieland's judiciary?

Yung Pung How had a case with a OCBC remisier, Boon Suan Ban on some trading loss matters.

The poor guy is sent to IMH and declare unfit to stand trail and detained under the pleasure President Nathan. He was released before the GE.

Look,... talk to any traders and they will tell you that if you show up the books, it will show the figures of all trading transaction very clearly.

They say figures don"t lie but somehow the records of the trail were sealed under court order.

Why is it that Boon wasn't given the chance to show the records of the trading transactions and to tell his side of the story.?

Is this how the Rule of the Law is applied here....???
