I developed painful corns under my foot due to wearing wrong shoe and excessive walkings. and just wanna check with bros does GP help to fix this corn ? Or they will simply refer patient to a Poditary? I know there are corns plaster available at guardian, Watson, etc but I think it may not help in my case.

Thanks in advance.

Just harvest it and enjoy your pop corns. Can eat don't waste.

I used to go CGH Dermatology for treatment. But corns re-growth every time. Repeatedly treated. Re-occurred.

Fed up!

I went to private laser surgery clinic. It re-occurred only once only. Healed now.

But got scar marked.

I tried to Google and saw a sg forum they mentioned like gp will help to cut etc not sure how true.

I attempted to cut the thick skin myself but halfway stop cos look dangerous act if I continue

I suggest you buy this cheap lotion from the traditional chinese medicine store.

http://www.minshenghe.com.sg/e-t-d-skin-lotion-extra-strength-28-ml.html

Apply it religiously once or twice a day and your skin will start to peel off. Usually corns are harmless and will disappear when the friction is no longer there. If it is recurrent, then it shouldn't be a corn, but a fungi infection. Corn is the body's mechanism to protect the skin from prolonged friction.

Thanks. My corn has been there for about 4 months but I have not seek any treatment. Only attempt to never wear shoe for that 3 months still there .

If you go to Thailand for a holiday can consider seeing a doctor there.

If my memory wasn't wrong paid $150~180
not exceed $200, roughly.

CGH uses liquid nitrogen minus 100~200 degree super cold to freeze the fuck of it. It was like very strong frost bite. Frozen to pale white grey colors. Then used surgical blade to cut the fuck of it. No anesthesia. Quite fucking painful.

Laser was literally burning it off into smelly fume, and a vacuum sucked off the fume. Corn tissues vaporize into white fume. Left a blood hole. Under strong local anesthesia. Was painful only during injection for anesthesia, about 4 jabs into skin near around corn. Hurt only like ants bites.

I hv used these. Not so effective. Corn still there after skin dead and peeled. They are basically Salicylic Acid. Could be made liquid or lotion or cream.
