religious people allowed themselves to be dictated by supposedly pious men and books until they are blind to reality and cannot comprehend the right and from the wrong.
but don't get me wrong, I think humans have this tendency to be dictated by somebody. they crave for some form of guidance and that is why stalin, lenin, hitler, mao, LKY and those with like minds can easily influence them.
