the cat battery still has la. rechargable vs one time usage - one time one higher power and can last longer. Rechargeable one power run flat faster. very much depends on purpose and usage of the device you are using. sometime rechargeable one simply run flat too fast for practical purpose.

more..then when the batteries went dead, they wouLd dig them out and bang both the +ve & -ve ends ; re-insert
them, and have another haLf hour of sound ..
