Chitchat Do u think singapore is a very irrelevant country?

Like we are a very rich country already,but all we do is focus on how to get even richer and cover ourselves with useless bling and golden monuments....is there a point or purpose to Singapore?

I mean why don't we use some of that wealth and money and figure out how to get clean water and electricity to billions of poor people that need it?why don't we focus on going to mars?instead of beating the GDP drumbeat endlessly

And instead of making peasants lives harder and more expensive,why don't they focus on making sg a paradise like Aussie?

The issue is all about values. (Not value of money ) The Leadership and Management have certain values, this is why Singapore is what it is today and will continue to be, unless there is a change in leadership with different values. It does not necessarily have to be a change in political party.
