The PA has lost sight of its objectives: incorrectly stating that its mission is to “bond the people with the government”, rather than to “strengthen the social cohesion amongst the people of Singapore”. It must be pointed out that:

the “people of Singapore” also includes the 40% who did not vote for the ruling party which forms the government; and thus
the role of the PA is to bond the 40% and the 60% of Singaporeans on both sides of the political divide, and not “bond the people with the government”.
Surely this can only be achieved by creating interactions between all parties, and not excluding by people who have a different shape, colour, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or political views?

Every party should form their own grassroots organisation.

It should be the other way round that the 40% who are righteous should rule over the 60% who are fascist to gain equilibrium back again.

I agree. Starting with the PAP, they should dissolve the PA and reconstitute it using their own funds instead of using taxpayers' money under the pretext that PA is a statutory board serving the interests of all Sinkaporeans.

National unity?
Hahahahaha! Don't make their toes laugh.
National unity can make them feel rich when they read their cpf statements or not?

The PA has lost much of its credibility, not that it had much to begin with.:D Since it has become public knowledge that it is used as an arm of the ruling party, it should be dissolved with immediate effect. It has since day one served its politcal masters ever so faithfully and skillfully that everyone save for those who are "blind" knows that PA belongs to the PAP. Hence it is fighting so hard to justify why non-government MPs cannot be appointed as their advisers. Therefore, since the PA is a source of friction and division among the people, it should be disbanded in the national interests. Each party should then be able to set up and fund its own grassroots bodies. That would be fairer!
