Commuters scream as bus crashes at Eunos Interchange
STOMPer Yunise was at Eunos Bus Interchange yesterday afternoon (May 29) when she spotted a bus crash. She noted that people in the queue for the free shuttle bus to the Air Force Open House were in shock and some even screamed.
She adds:
"Bus Service 60 was parking at the interchange. No one expected anything special, then the bus lost control and crashed through the metal support in the interchange.
"There was a loud bang, then it continued speeding towards the direction of the queue in the interchange and only came to a halt after the front of the bus was badly damaged.
"People in the queue for the free shuttle bus to the Air Force Open House were in shock and some screamed.
"Upon closer investigation, an unknown liquid was flowing out from the bus.
"The commotion disrupted the service of the free shuttle bus to the Open House, but the officers reacted quickly and asked the bus driver to drive the bus to one side.
"It is fortunate that nobody was injured in the accident. But imagine if the bus had lost control on an expressway or dashed towards another interchange."
