Going, going, gone! A hapless model takes a dramatic Naomi Campbell-style tumble at the French Couture 2012 show in Singapore
It all started so well, but walking in high heels isn't always the easiest of tasks - as one model discovered to her embarrassment while on the catwalk at the French Couture 2012 show in Singapore.
Like British supermodel Naomi Campbell, who famously took a tumble during a Vivienne Westwood fashion show in 1993, things didn't go to plan for the model, who wobbled then fell in full view of hundreds of guests.
Although the fall looked painful, the model, dressed in a black and pink creation by French designer Julien Fournie and a pair of hot pink platform heels, picked herself up and spared her blushes by finishing off her walk in professional style.
The model survived to walk another day - but whether she will walk again for this particular designer - fledgling models sometimes never recover their careers after a tumble - is another thing altogether...
Going... The model trips on the hem of her dress - but her sky high platform heels don't leave much room for manoeuvre
Gone! The model hits the floor, grimacing in pain and with her heels tangled in the sweeping train of her dress
Surely this wasn't in the contract? The unnamed model looked very unhappy as she struggled to pick herself up
Professional: Despite her bruises, the hapless model managed to get up and finish the show without any more mishaps
