Did PAP got a shock from last night's result when

Like I have mentioned before on the purpose of having 4 candidates. Even with 40% support for TT, he will win with the other 3 having equal split of 20%.

what Singapore does not have is round 2 of the election. In other places, 35% can't really claim victory at all, what kind of "people's mandate" is this? The top 2 should go for round 2 and only then a mandate is produced.

Yup, all those Our Man in Istanbul type of wannabe JB movies, but for 50 cts, it's a cheap way to while away 90 minutes. You remember the 3 scalpers? The woman who looked permanently pregnant? The 10 cts for 3 sticks of Matterhorn, or Craven A?

Sorry to hijack this thread, this will be last post on State.

I wasn't a regular only went there when there was an interesting movie showing.

Today I still go to "State" except it's now call City Square Mall :)

I think it is a blessing in disguise.
Now that PAP rules everything again, the hatred against them will grow far and larger.
The younger generation will not take it lightly.

The resentment & anger will just grow until it explodes in, maybe the next election:confused:

It will probably be led by the younger generation as they stand to lose more with the lack of jobs, expensive housing, competition from the foreigners,....For the brainwashed older generation they will find out if anything is left of their CPF:rolleyes:
