Zimbabwe president Mugabe in Singapore on a private visit

HARARE (AFP) - Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe is in Singapore on a private visit to arrange post-graduate studies for his daughter, state media reported on Sunday.

'President Mugabe left the country yesterday (Saturday) evening on a private visit to Singapore,' the state-owned Sunday Mail newspaper said.

The paper said that Mr Mugabe would oversee arrangements for his daughter Bona to begin post-graduate work, after she received her accounting degree last year.

Mr Mugabe, 88, who has ruled Zimbabwe since independence from Britain in 1980, visited Singapore several times last year. His spokesman said the president had gone for cataract surgery amid repeated media reports that he was suffering from cancer

Like attracts like. Birds of a feather flock together.

If the world did not allow the family members into their countries to shop, study, wine and dine, they would start to behave and treat their own countrymen better. Singapore sadly always played the pimp for decades. While South Vietnamese youngsters were fighting to save their country from the communists, South Vietnamese Ministers were in Singapore niteclubs partying while their spouses were shopping like crazy. Till today we have given cover for the corrupt and the evil and I could never understand it.

It's so simple. It all boils down to money.

Singapore's leaders do not discriminate between 'clean money' vs 'dirty money'. By sucking up to the Myanmar junta elite, it hopes to get good access to investments in Myanmar.

This is the highly-touted 'pragmatism' which the PAP and the Lees (and their sycophants) love to boast about. But if you peel off the layers and examine it more closely, it is morally equivalent to prostituting your mother so you can get some easy cash.

'Pimp' is a good word to describe this.

His daughter coming here for post-graduate Accounting is a very good move.
She can check the accounts of the Zimbabwean dictator and give an account of his excesses to the poor people where a loaf of bread caused a billion Zimbabwean dollars.
Everyone in Zimbabwe is a billionaire but the leader is a Zillionaire.
He Owns good and expensive homes in Britain and other countries. Maybe in Singapore too.

If there is a international warrant for his arrest, Singapore police should pounce on him and hand him to the UN Tribunal for trial.
Now if the time. Don't let this cruel man go scot-free from Singapore.

Poor Zimbabweans fought alongside him and ousted Nkomo.
They were all better off as Rhodesians under Ian Smith.
