Dick Lee and His Sunshine Girls...wow!!!

Singer-songwriter Dick Lee is making his debut as feature film director. The movie, called Sunshine Girls, is about a Taiwanese singing legend who wants to groom one of her two daughters, whom she favours, to follow in her footsteps. It is tentatively budgeted at between $1.3 million and $1.5 million.

Its producers are holding auditions this Saturday (Sept 7) for the roles of the two sisters. The auditions will take place from 9.30am to 6pm at mm2 Entertainment Pte Ltd, 1002 Jalan Bukit Merah, 07-11.

Candidates must be Chinese female, 16 to 26 years old, able to sing well and act, and proficient in speaking Mandarin.

The role of the Taiwanese singing legend has also not been cast.

You know I never once agree with u on anything u said about the goodness of the PAP. In fact, I vehemently oppose to all u said about them. But as far as Stefanie Sun is concerned, I fully agree she's a great talent who has done Singapore proud. The chinese in HK, Taiwan and China whom I met all sing high praises of her, adding that she is very humble despite her immense popularity. None of them has heard of the other Sun (Whore) tho.
